ico-D, SEIC, CDUT, Shenkar Industrial Design collaboration, a 3 week project in Chengdu, China with working with chinese design students, the result:

Like a time capsule it stores pieces of paper important in our lives, birth certificates, drawings, letters, birthday cards, clippings from a newspaper, even messages we say to ourselves or our family.

It sits in a home for 18 years, each year winding up the key for a new compartment to come and new memories to store. The chain grows longer every year until every pocket is full, only then it allows itself to open.
